Welcome to what was probably one of the most amazing experience of my entire life. Since when I was a kid I have always dreamed of a Safari in the bush and finally, last December I did it, at Kruger National park in South Africa.

Back to the itinerary, we spent the night in Port Elizabeth and took a flight from there to Johannesburg. We left our rental car at the airport and we will collect another car when we arrive at Kruger. So from Johannesburg we took a small plain to Nelspruit and from there we drove to our Lodge, the Chisomo Safari Lodge.
We depart in the morning not very early and arrived there on time for the afternoon safari, at around 4pm.
This part of our trip (we spent 2 nights and 3 days in the lodge) was organized by our travel agent ( Vanessa Viaggi in Florence ) which found our lodge and organized the Safari. The package included the 2 nights stay with full board and two Safari per day, one in the morning, at sunrise and one in the afternoon, at the sunset.
I am not sure if I am able to express with words the great emotion of seeing all this animals from the bush from so close! The giraffe, the rhino, the big fives (from which we missed the leopard, but it’s a reason to come back!) and Pumba ! No words can describe such an incredible experience, you have to try it yourself.
